This annual report is based on an observation focused on the institutional framework and the actual interaction between the various state authorities, as well as on the legal and practical standards for conducting procedures for granting asylum, international protection in the form of refugee or humanitarian status, regulated in the Asylum and Refugees Act, as well as their compliance with the principles of international protection and the common legal standards in the field of asylum of the European Union (acquis communautaire).
