The municipality of Tundja (South-East Bulgaria) is opening new kindergartens and schools at a time when other municipalities are closing them down. School enrollment rates are going up thanks to a policy of waiver of kindergarten fees, while school drop-out rates are under 1%. The integration of children in the educational process starts as early as 2-3 years of age and partnership with the parents in schooling and bringing up is an indispensable part of the process. The waiver of kindergarten fees and provision of full-time childcare opens widely the doors of preschool education for all children. The video demonstrates the approach of the municipality in Tundja in integrating all of its children in the process of education and the key role that education and sports play in integration.
