The Land Source of Income Foundation (Bulgaria) has worked since 2000 to assist low-income families, in particular Roma, to gain access to assets and land for agricultural needs. Since then, the organization has ensured possibilities for additional income through the starting of their own family businesses to some 500 people from 150 families. The video was shot on location in Perushtitsa and tells the stories of a vine-grower and the owners of a small family grocery store. The third story is about Gina, a young Roma woman who works as a qualified nurse, a health mediator, and a volunteer teacher who helps 150 children from 4 neighbouring villages with their school assignments. She has also decided to open up her own café where Bulgarians and Roma could come together and meet over a cup of coffee.
